Lee Turnbull has earned degrees in teaching (B.Ed.), Law (LL.B.) and Counselling Psychology (M.Ed.). She holds a Permanent Teaching Certificate and was called to the BC Bar in 1983.
Lee provides dispute resolution training and systems design, and has been mediating, training, and facilitating since 1985 in various areas: commercial, intergovernmental, public process, school district, workplace and family disputes. In addition to the small claims practicum program, Lee developed a pilot family practicum program and has designed assessment processes for several programs and certification processes. As well as training and assessing mediators for the Court Mediation Program, Lee trains and assesses students in the Centre for Conflict Resolution Training (Justice Institute of BC), and has a private mediation practice.
Lee is a Certified Comprehensive Family Mediator (FMC), and a Chartered Mediator (ADR Institute) and is the Area Director for West Howe Sound for the Sunshine Coast Regional District in British Columbia.
